NAVY OPEN DAY TO ALSO SHOWCASE TECHPORT
Premier Mike Rann encouraged South Australians to take the opportunity to come and view the key facility in the State’s new defence precinct as the Navy celebrates the Anzac Day holiday at Techport Australia with an open event on board the HMAS Arunta.

Air Warfare Destroyer project benefiting Adelaide
Greg Combet, Minister for Defence Materiel and Science and Mark Butler, Member for Port Adelaide, announced today that full production of Australia’s three Hobart Class Air Warfare Destroyers (AWD) is now underway, including at the new ASC shipyard in Adelaide.

ROLLS-ROYCE UNVEILS A$50M SHIPLIFT IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA
Rolls-Royce, the global power systems company, announced today that the largest shiplift in the southern hemisphere, installed as a key element of a major new shipbuilding and ship repair development at Techport in Adelaide, South Australia, is now officially in service.
